If you're worried about affordability, please bring it up — I'd rather find a way to make it work than have you go without support.

Common questions
Do I need to use insurance?
Not at all. Many clients choose to self-pay for added privacy and flexibility. If you'd like to use insurance, I'm currently in-network with Cigna, Aetna, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Quest Behavioral Health.
How do I verify my telehealth benefits?
Call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask specifically about your telehealth mental health benefits, your deductible, and your copay or coinsurance for outpatient therapy. It is your responsibility to verify your telehealth benefits prior to our first appointment — I'm happy to help you know what questions to ask.
What is my client responsibility for insurance?
Copays, coinsurance, and deductibles are due at the time of your virtual session. Please verify your benefits before our first appointment so there are no surprises.
What is a sliding scale fee?
A sliding scale means your session fee is adjusted based on your income and financial situation. I believe cost should never be a barrier to getting support. If you're concerned about affordability, please bring it up — we'll figure something out.
When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept major credit and debit cards. If you have questions about billing, just ask during your free consultation.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee. Life happens — if something comes up, please reach out as soon as you can.
Your rights
Under the law, healthcare providers must give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
