Telehealth & Crisis Resources — Wounds to Wings Therapy

Virtual practice

Telehealth & Crisis Resources

Everything you need to know about how virtual sessions work — and what to do if you need support outside of our scheduled time together.

How it works

Virtual Therapy Framework

Private space

A quiet, private location where you feel comfortable speaking freely.

High-speed internet

A stable, high-speed internet connection to maintain a clear video connection.

Camera & microphone

A device with a working camera and microphone — laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

HIPAA-compliant platform

Sessions are hosted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform to protect your privacy.

Technology Failure Protocol

If our video connection drops during a session, I will immediately attempt to reconnect via the platform. If reconnection fails within two (2) minutes, I will call you directly at the phone number provided in your intake paperwork to continue or reschedule the session.

Safety first

Mental Health Crisis Plan

Because this is a completely virtual practice, I do not provide 24/7 crisis intervention or after-hours emergency care. If you are experiencing a severe mental health crisis or a life-threatening medical emergency, please use the resources below immediately.

Ready to get started?

Virtual therapy makes it easier than ever to get the support you deserve — from the privacy and comfort of your own space.
